Re the 11MAOP / 11.2MAOP, as far as I know, there is no practical difference for the end user. They are technically right to describe it like that, but it's not all that significant for buyers.

Based on fallible memory, rather like the 11MS, MA had to make some changes to the spec. of a couple of components in the Pluvia 11 (which the 11MAOP is based on), mainly because the suppliers couldn't get the tolerance consistent, which in turn meant a high reject rate of the components in question. No criticism of the component supplier -these are not easy to produce consistently. However, it does get expensive when you need to constantly test the components before use & bin significant numbers of the things, so they altered the spec. to make it easier for them to be produced to a high rate of consistency, while providing more or less the same results.

They look great IRL. Currently testing in 12L BR. Tomorrow I will resume listening but so far it sounds really promising!
(Tweeters are from original B&W CM5 but disconnected).

One thing I noticed is an excess of bass. Cabinet is lined and stuffed made from plywood with a 15 cm port. Modelling in WINISD (f3 52 Hz) proposes a nice response though. I might need to move them further in the room?

You must have very high standards for pair matching, because according to that data, those drivers are rather close.

The three critical for bass alignment (the first two dominating) and the variation:
Fs variation: 0.2Hz
Qt variation: 1.5%
Vas variation: 7.4%

As far as outout goes, rated SPL variation between them is 0.31dB.
